I have been a potter for 42 years-- around and in between raising five children. Ceramics hasbeen my abiding love since I first tried to use a potter's wheel. When I am making pots, I feel both ancient and renewed.
Throwing and carving my pots has become far more that merely a physical or even a creative act: it is my spiritual center, my means of staying in touch with my core. I know I will always have my hands in clay.
I hope my friends and patrons, using my pots, partake in some of the pleasure I am lucky enough to experience in making them.
